Working in the payment processing industry since 2003, Denny has been the VP of Sales for Westmoreland Payment Services (WPS) since 2012. He is responsible for prospecting, closing, managing and retaining customers. He keeps up with innovation in POS systems and web-based sales techniques.
Earlier, Denny specialized in long-term strategic holdouts as the Manager of Business Development for the eastern region of American Express Fortune 100 Company. Over his nine years there, he developed customized marketing programs targeting long-term holdouts’ acceptance of American Express in the B2B space. He also helped roll out a fee-based revenue team for client management. His work paid off. Out of 260+ reps, his team achieved #1 in the country twice, Top 20 five times, and Top 5 three times. He made the President’s Club four times.
At WPS, his mission is to provide transparent and fair pricing for all types of merchants. He helps his customers determine what they need and then strives to follow their plan as exactly as possible. Denny has a B.S. in Business Administration/Marketing from The University of Pittsburgh. While there, he was a scholarship athlete who played Division 1 baseball team.
